Imagine a week of class time at Edgewood Farm, creating art with like-minded people, exploring the modernist elements of line, form, shape, color and composition. In this marathon course, we will explore the principles of painting while also creating time to enjoy the summer weather. Artists will have the option to work en plein air, with a live model indoors, from a still life, or abstractly. A teacher will be available before and after class, for a Friday afternoon critique and at events such as a group gallery stroll and social gatherings. You will leave with artwork, a clear idea of your direction, breakthroughs, discoveries and being part of the Outer Cape artist community.
