Understanding the Figure through Line and Watercolor

Prompt 1:

The model will pose for 2 minutes.

Draw the model with one continuous line.

Repeat the process 3x on the same piece of paper. By the end you will have three drawings of the model on the same piece of paper.

Prompt 2:

The model will hold the last pose from the previous prompt for 20 minutes.

Apply watercolor on top of your drawing from the last prompt.

Prompt 3:

The model will hold the same pose as the previous prompt for 20 minutes.

Draw and paint the pose again, this time on a fresh new piece of paper.

Prompt 4:

The model will hold the pose for 10 minutes.

Paint/draw the figure on top of a canvas that has been prepped with a background color or wash.

Prompt 5:

The model will hold the pose for 20 minutes. The model will wear clothing that is brightly colored.
